As a company, community, country, and global population, we currently find ourselves in challenging times as we come together to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Amidst this turmoil, one thing remains constant—At Attain, we put our people first, and we are taking actions to protect their health, safety, and well-being.

Every decision that we have made related to Attain’s COVID-19 Response Plan has been with the interest of our team as the top priority. When we consider and implement new policies regarding the outbreak, we make it a point to prioritize the interests of our 850+ team members, the clients they serve, and the communities in which they live and work.

As of Tuesday, March 17, we have moved all Attain office-based personnel to teleworking. Many of our staff had already been working remotely, and it’s been inspiring to see our teams and their creative, agile ways of virtualizing their work, maintaining focus on continuing to deliver the highest quality client service and enabling our clients to carry out their important missions.

To enable Team Attain to do their best work, we have company-wide Skype installed on all computers which allows for real-time collaboration, calls, and video conferencing, and are also leveraging Teams and Zoom. We are already well into this virtualization process to work-from-home, enabled by the technology—and the Attain Way—that we have put in place for our team members.

We believe fostering continued collaboration is essential to the well-being of our workforce and are constantly brainstorming, implementing, and testing innovative solutions to support our team in this way despite the necessary in-person social distancing required to slow the spread of COVID-19. To help support the mental well-being of our team members and virtually boost morale, we launched a dedicated group via Attain Chatter, powered by Salesforce, to facilitate the sharing of ideas and experiences around “Working Remote: Tips and Tricks”. We also are planning virtual team happy hours and Team Attain Story Time to support our team members with younger children at home.

This situation is truly unprecedented and requires all of our collective efforts to band together for this societal imperative. As members of our Team Attain family, we are encouraging every employee to let us know what help or resources they may need in order to perform their work in serving their clients and in supporting their families. We’ve sent home equipment typically used at Attain offices so that work may continue seamlessly, and we are continuing to think creatively about ways to make sure our team members feel supported, including through our People Operations and IT help desks which have and will remain 100% active.

Following guidance from the CDC, we have fully implemented social mitigation measures and we are discouraging travel of any kind. Attain has cancelled all work-related travel for employees since the beginning of March. Attain team members are not currently attending any large conferences in person, since most have already been cancelled, postponed, or moved to virtual sessions. We are experts at leveraging the latest technology to create powerful solutions—virtual presentations and collaboration are no exception!

Team Attain’s resilience and commitment to our clients and to one another is inspiring. I am confident that we will weather this storm together and emerge even stronger than before.
